Sweet potatoes in a smoothie? I know what you are thinking, but if you like pumpkin pie you will like this smoothie, trust me!
Okay, I must confess…I am in love with sweet potatoes. A, because they taste good and B, because they are extremely healthy for you! So, what a perfect way to get in this super food for breakfast! Hope you give this recipe a try!
- 1 C Greek Yogurt, plain
- 2 Sweet Potatoes, cooked & frozen
- 2 Banana, frozen
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 2 tbsp Maple Syrup
- 2 C Almond Milk
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla
- Cut sweet potatoes into cubes and steam them until tender. Freeze sweet potatoes and bananas overnight.
- The next morning add all ingredients to blender and mix until smooth.
- Eat it up, this is delicious & very smooth!
