Sweet potatoes in a smoothie? I know what you are thinking, but if you like pumpkin pie you will like this smoothie, trust me!

Okay, I must confess…I am in love with sweet potatoes. A, because they taste good and B, because they are extremely healthy for you! So, what a perfect way to get in this super food for breakfast! Hope you give this recipe a try!

This is the perfect smoothie for high endurance athletes who need extra carbohydrates to fuel through a long workout.

Ingredients
  1. 1 C Greek Yogurt, plain
  2. 2 Sweet Potatoes, cooked & frozen
  3. 2 Banana, frozen
  4. 1 tsp Cinnamon
  5. 2 tbsp Maple Syrup
  6. 2 C Almond Milk
  7. 1/2 tsp Vanilla
Instructions
  1. Cut sweet potatoes into cubes and steam them until tender. Freeze sweet potatoes and bananas overnight.
  2. The next morning add all ingredients to blender and mix until smooth.
  3. Eat it up, this is delicious & very smooth!
